Detex Corporation, New Braunfels, TX is pleased to announce Carl Dean, AHC, CDT of Callen & Cahill, LLC., has joined the Detex team as the National Training Manager for the Life Safety, Security Door Hardware and Integrated Door Security Systems product lines.  Carl, one of the best-known names and customer advocates in our industry, has more than a quarter of a century of broad industry experience.  Carl’s focus will be training Detex customers, channel partners, and others on Life Safety Codes, Security Door Hardware, and electrified product applications.  “This is a great opportunity for our distribution network, and others, to take advantage of Carl’s wealth of knowledge;  he is an outstanding training resource for Detex products, services, life safety codes and other industry matters”, says John Blodgett, President, Detex Corporation.
